About The Program InSinkErator is cooperating with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in a voluntary Recall to Repair Program for certain instant hot water dispensers made between 1972 and 1996. This could create a fire. Three (3) reports have been received of units with this condition, one report involved a kitchen fire that caused nearly $7,000 in property damage (as of June 27th, 2002 when this site was launched).
